Mary Washington Healthcare Designates Physicians Committed to Women's Cardiac Care
Mary Washington Healthcare is taking another step to improve the cardiovascular health of the community. Spirit of Women, a coalition of hospitals and healthcare providers that ascribe to high standards of excellence in women’s health, education and community outreach, has recognized Mary Washington Healthcare as a HeartCaring designated hospital system for the past five years. To be a HeartCaring health system means that we are committed to excellence in cardiovascular care, particularly in women.
Now, Mary Washington Healthcare has designated HeartCaring physicians that acknowledge the unique differences for women in maintaining a healthy heart and recognizing the signs, symptoms, and treatments for cardiovascular disease in women.
